Deep Blue – Paperwork Theatre

Riley is a woman of a certain age, caught in-between two worlds, above and below the water. Deep Blue is a show about what it means to belong and the importance of human connection when you live alone. Its Twitter tag is #StopLoneliness and the original music is by the Mono LPs. The four-person cast (Danielle McLauren, Tom Wilson, Edalia Day and Holly Phelps) play all the characters and the indie-rock soundtrack in this honest, heartfelt and humorous show from a company who explore theatre, community and workshops across the North West of England. Paperwork Theatre are back with Deep Blue

There are over 7.7million people living alone in the UK, Deep Blue shines a light on the importance of human connection. “Lights flicker and glow, it might be...

Teacup Commissions are a micro fund to support the development of new work by theatre makers; we encourage people to donate the price of a cuppa and every time the cup is full, local theatre makers can pitch to win it. Launched in January 2020, the scheme has raised over £700 so far and supported 6 North West theatre-makers to kick start new creative projects. The scheme has been so popular in 2020, the micro fund has been raised to £200. The Paperwork team believes in sharing knowledge, developing skills and demystifying the industry for North...
