Jodie Prenger is heading to The Lowry in Salford to star in Andrew Lloyd Webber and Don Black’s classic musical TELL ME ON A SUNDAY.  Running from 19th – 23rd October 2021, TELL ME ON A SUNDAY charts the romantic misadventures of a young English girl in New York in the heady days of the 1980’s. Brimming with optimism, she seeks success and love. Leicester’s Curve theatre is gearing up to reopen with a special socially distanced season from the 20th May

After over a year without audiences in its building, Leicester’s Curve theatre is gearing up to reopen with a special socially distanced season from the 20th May. Including two nights of work curated by Curve Resident Creatives and local artists, a new comedy musical, acclaimed dance and a Made at Curve concert inspired by the life and career of Andrew Lloyd Webber, these reopening plans have been made possible by a second grant from the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport’s Culture Recovery Fund. Leeds Playhouse’s Young Leaders are looking for six new people to join their free course supporting 18- to 25-year-olds to become the next generation of arts facilitators. Six aspiring arts professionals are already working in partnership with Chapel FM, DAZL, Geraldine Connor Foundation, Mind the Gap and Leeds Libraries & Studio 12 to develop their creative community practice. The course will help those selected to: •  Develop leadership skills •  Support and manage a team •  Make events happen The course runs from February to December 2021, and to apply complete the online form, or send a video or audio file (no longer than 5 minutes) by 10am on 29th January. Producers The Really Useful Group announced today that Andrew Lloyd Webber’s new musical Cinderella will now world premiere at The Gillian Lynne Theatre in London on Wednesday 7th April 2021, with previews from Friday 19th March 2021.
