Following on from their sell out production of Elf the Musical in November 2022, Centenary Theatre Company complete their trilogy of revue shows showcasing some of the finest songs from the movies. This is one not to be missed. Strictly Movie Musicals features songs from MGM Classics, Oscar Winners and Animated Feature Films to name a few. Centenary have been working on the show since January, finessing the production to ensure they continue to perform to the highest standard for their audiences. Rehearsals are going brilliantly, with the cast learning some fantastic choreography to make the show a real crowd pleaser. Christmas cheer comes to Runcorn next week

Centenary Theatre Company are about to move into the Brindley Theatre in Runcorn to present their latest production Elf the Musical which opens next week. North West End UK sat down with their musical director, Simon Pickup to find out how the company choses, rehearses and ultimately stages such a big production. With the dreaded Covid putting a hold on things, they were able to bring most of the original cast back to display the hard work they have put into this show. Set aboard the Luxury liner S.S. American as it travels from New York to England, we follow the comings and goings of a nightclub singer, a wealthy English Aristocrat, a public enemy, and many more in this fast paced, music filled show. After two long years away from performing, Centenary Theatre Company are back with a bang this November as they present ‘Strictly More Musicals’ at The Brindley Theatre, Runcorn.
