Camden People’s Theatre reopens

This summer, Camden People’s Theatre will reopen their doors to welcome back audiences and performers alike to a fresh new space. Executive director Kaya Stanley-Money said: “After a rollercoaster year, it feels quite momentous that we’re finally able, not only to re-open our theatre for public performances, but to reopen a theatre that has been totally transformed both inside and out. We’ll be unveiling the finishing touches in the autumn but with the vast majority of the work completed we didn’t want to delay getting the people who make CPT what it is, back in our building. The Lawrence Batley Theatre has announced that live entertainment will return to the venue from Monday 7th June with a season of socially distanced and outdoor performances. Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society opens Fringe Artist and Venue Recovery Fund

On Thursday 22nd April, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society is delighted to announce that the Fringe Artist and Venue Recovery Fund is open for applications. A £75,000 funding pot is available to Fringe companies, creatives and venues to support projects that will enable a return to the Fringe in 2021 or 2022. The fund will prioritise projects that seek to improve opportunities for access on the Fringe by underrepresented groups. Fringe artists, venues and creatives can apply if they were registered with the Fringe Society in 2019. It is also available for participants who had registered for the 2020 Fringe before 01 April 2020, who had listed online content at listings.edfringe.com, and who can provide written confirmation that a venue had been booked for the 2020 Fringe.
