Following on from their sell out production of Elf the Musical in November 2022, Centenary Theatre Company complete their trilogy of revue shows showcasing some of the finest songs from the movies. This is one not to be missed.
Strictly Movie Musicals features songs from MGM Classics, Oscar Winners and Animated Feature Films to name a few.
Centenary have been working on the show since January, finessing the production to ensure they continue to perform to the highest standard for their audiences. Rehearsals are going brilliantly, with the cast learning some fantastic choreography to make the show a real crowd pleaser.
Centenary Chairperson Ria Hall said: “We are so excited to be returning to the Brindley with a third and final ‘Strictly Musicals’ show. We’re all incredibly proud of the original format of these shows, which allow us to demonstrate the talent of each and every one of our amazing society members. Not only is there something for every cast member on stage, but there is also something in these shows for every audience member too as this style of production allows us to create a wonderful collection of musicals to suit all ages and musical genres. We are also thrilled to have the opportunity to work with the fabulously talented pupils from First Act: Drama School once again. These young performers are the future of amateur dramatics in Warrington and beyond and we are so lucky to share the stage with them.”
Performed from 18th – 20th May, tickets are £22 (full price) or £20 (concession). There is also a family ticket offer available. You can book via the Brindley website www.thebrindley.org.uk or by calling the Box Office on 0151 907 8360.
