The duo on stage have the personalities down to a tee; they are superb; Ian Ashpitel as Eric and Jonty Stephens as Ern demonstrate impeccable comic timing and undeniable chemistry. They don’t simply impersonate Morecambe and Wise—they embody their spirit, delivering both the humour and heart with authenticity and respect. Their rapport feels effortless and offers an opportunity to feel what it would be like to see the real pair in action live.

The staging is simple but small sets help certain has such as the pair’s bedroom and that infamous ice cream line!

Eric & Ern is more than just a ‘best of’ type show; it’s a touching tribute that reminds us why Morecambe and Wise became such enduring icons and a standing ovation at the end proves that we still need Morecambe and Wise in our lives!
