North West End UK needs YOU!

North West End UK was created in 2015 primarily based in the Greater Manchester area before quickly expanding to cover Merseyside and parts of Yorkshire. Fast forward to today and we now cover many more locations including Glasgow, London and Birmingham, with our Edinburgh team currently preparing for our busiest Fringe season ever. We review shows from the London Palladium in the heart of the West End to church halls, both professional and amateur. You can visit us at www.northwestend.com

Despite our continued success demand is outstripping our ability to provide reviews to all the performances we are invited to and need to recruit more to our regional teams.

To join our volunteer team, you do not need to have had previous experience, but we will ask you to provide us with an ‘audition piece’ so we know you can write.

Each month we send out a list of available shows for bidding. You simply reply with the shows you are available to review and if you are the only person bidding, the show is yours. If multiple bids are received, we randomly select a reviewer from those who showed interest. You can review as many shows a month as you want to, or just the odd one. All we ask is you review 6 shows as a minimum per calendar year.

Typically, producers issue us with 2 complimentary tickets per show, however for some smaller venues due to capacity this may drop to 1. We will always advise you on what is available.

Sounds good? To apply simply send us an email to recruitment@northwestend.com stating where in the UK you are based and one of our regional coordinators will get back to you with further details of how to submit your audition piece.

Whilst we are looking for people across the whole of the UK, we are urgently seeking people who can review in Lancashire, Merseyside, The Midlands, Manchester, York, Glasgow, Edinburgh and London.

What are you waiting for? Join us today and you could be completing your first review within a week! If this isn’t for you, help us spread the word and pass this onto someone you may know who would like to join us.
