Announcing North West End UK and Theatre Muse UK Festivals Collaboration

As we approach the biggest single month of the year for North West End UK in terms of reviews volume, we have an exciting announcement – North West End UK (NWE) is beginning a partnership with Theatre Muse UK (TM), who will manage and develop our festival coverage.  Theatre Muse’s founder Caroline Worswick, has worked with North West End for eight years, developing and managing the London and Edinburgh teams, and has already developed our existing festival exposure.  In January of this year, Caroline founded Theatre Muse, a theatre site that is dedicated to championing theatre-makers, specialising in fringe, festivals, and improv, as Caroline believes that these particular areas of theatre are under-represented with press coverage.

As Caroline continues to develop Theatre Muse, North West End UK will also be working with Theatre Muse and our editing team, to make sure that we are prepared and ready for this busy festival season.  Planning has been going on for months, with Caroline organising our team of reviewers, assisting them in their accreditation, and selection of reviews, and the North West End editors are pulling together the photos, etc that are needed when posting your reviews.

As this joint venture develops, we will be looking for new festivals that we do not currently cover, and it will be the role of Theatre Muse to develop these new connections.  North West End UK, will be working as usual in the background to make sure that we are ready to edit and post the reviews, to give the coverage that these festivals deserve.   All reviews provided by the joint venture will appear on both company’s websites and social media platforms, enhancing our reach, and providing theatre-makers with greater coverage.  Both companies will still be running their usual coverage alongside this new festivals venture.

Theatre Muse UK’s moto is – ‘Championing Theatre’, and we believe that in coming together as a partnership, we will be able to offer more support and coverage moving forward.  Theatre Muse UK and North West End UK would love to hear from festival organisers who would like to invite us along.  Please email Caroline Worswick at Theatre Muse UK – caroline.worswick@theatremuseuk.org, and if you are in a location that we do not currently cover, please give us plenty of notice, as we may need to recruit reviewers.
