As we count down to Christmas and the Big day; it’s the season for festive fun and feeling merry – and a recent trip to Silcock’s Winter Wonderland did all this and more, delivering the ultimate family festive outing!
The UK’s largest indoor Christmas Theme Park has returned to Event City near the Trafford Centre and its bigger and better than ever!
It’s jam packed with funfair rides, circus shows, Panto shows, ice Princess performances and has over 50 rides and attractions on site all included in the ticket price.
Walking in; you are immediately transported to a Winter Wonderland with Christmas Trees and artificial snow falling from the roof; giving you the feeling that you’re starting in your very own Christmas movie!
The Kids (and ‘Kids at Heart’) really loved the family rides and rollercoasters housed inside; we found there was something for all ages to enjoy and we didn’t encounter big queues that we’ve had at other theme parks in the past.
Winter Wonderland isn’t just a funfair or theme park though; the performances and mini shows featured inside are engaging and entertaining with everything from Big Circus shows to Milkshake’s very own Daisy & Ollie.
The main stage was hosted by Reece Ryan who entertained everyone throughout, and we were spoilt for choice with the array of shows, attractions and rides to go to!
One attraction/feature we just had to do was to experience the meet and greet with Father Christmas. Winter Wonderland’s Father Christmas experience features a fabulous magical Santa’s Grotto with the option to get a photo with the main man himself and immerse yourself in the Toy Workshop.
If that wasn’t enough, there were traditional game stalls and a selection of food stalls with everything from German Sausages to Crepes and an authentic German Bar for the adults to enjoy!
It was a great experience for all the family and the fact that all the rides and attractions were included in the ticket price meant we got to enjoy so many more rides and shows than we perhaps may have done if separately ticketed.
Silcock’s Winter Wonderland is a must this festive season! https://www.winterwonderlandmanchester.com/
